Flight noise monitoring region Frauenfeld (Iselisberg TG): 2. Night hour

This dataset contains the results of the air traffic noise monitoring region Frauenfeld for the second night hour (23-24 hrs, including flights during the night flight ban between 24 and 05 o'clock). Because the canton of Thurgau is located in the arrival and departure area of Zurich Airport, the cantonal department of construction and environment commissioned Sinus Engineering AG with this local noise monitoring. The measuring station is located next to a residential zone in Iselisberg (TG). The daily hours are evaluated from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (day), the sensitive night hours from 10 p.m. to midnight (1. Night hour and 2. Night hour) and the early morning from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. (last night hour). The noise measurements support the authorities in the various procedures relating to the operation of Zurich Airport and serve as information for those affected by noise. The measurements are published monthly on https://dbu.tg.chunter Downloads and summarised in an annual report.
