The New York City Restaurant Inspection Results Database is an open dataset maintained by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). It houses inspection violation records for active restaurants and university dining halls across New York City. This dataset documents all confirmed or pending violations identified during comprehensive or special program inspections conducted at each restaurant over the past three years, including details such as inspection date, violation code, violation description, severity level, inspection score and grade. The dataset is updated daily, serving the purposes of food safety regulation and public awareness of restaurant food safety conditions.
