Polynucleobacter sp. subcluster PnecB bacterioplankton isolates genome sequencing and assembly

Freshwater bacterioplankton has been observed the worldwide distribution. The strains HIN5, HIN6, HIN7, HIN8, HIN9, HIN10, and HIN11 were isolated from surface lake water in Japan using the size exclusion assay method (SEAM). These strains were closed to the Polynucleobacter sp. subcluster PnecB (PnecB tribe) which has been reported by Newton et al. (Microbiol Mol Biol Rev., 75(1), 2011, 14-49.) as the environmental clone of 47 lakes. The Polynucleobacter sp. subcluster PnecB bacterial reads have been frequently obtained from lake and river water in Japan.
