This map layer is part of the Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders. “In the ‘Space for Energy Flanders 2030’ scenario (REV2030), only the pocket fermentation potential is taken into account for the additional production potential from biomass. Sheds with more than 1000 tonnes of bovine and/or calf manure are eligible. Given current trends, the maximum potential in this REV2030 scenario is reduced to 2 % to 2030. For more background information, please refer to the report. The results are presented here at municipal level. A number of municipalities carry the label ‘confidential’ in order to guarantee the confidentiality of manure bank data. The figures per municipality can also be found in the attached table.”
