Test system for brakes

A semi-automated inspection of the brakes can be carried out by the brake testing system. The system includes equipment located on the terrain: the brake test device, the right connectors and the correct air pressure. For brake testing systems, the code, type, owner, date of commissioning, condition/additional information and the status of use (in use, not in use, not known), as well as assessment of the location track ID, track mileage location and location, shall be reported. The brake testing system is one of the services and equipment of the railway yard. The material covers railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is a track site management application (RATKO) in the track infrastructure management system.
