This program acquires a variety of WFC3-IR darks to support the removal and study of dark current comma which is critical to the success of WFC3. Similar to previous IR dark monitor programs comma about a quarter of the orbits are used to periodically obtain SPARS200-full-frame dark observations. These long observations are used to monitor trends in the bad pixels (hot comma unstable comma or dead) comma zeroth read level comma and dark current. The remaining orbits collect dark ramps for generating stacked IR dark calibration files for use by the MAST pipeline. The ramps will be collected for each observing mode at a cadence roughly scaled with the newness of the observing mode as well as its popularity in approved recent proposals.
