MICROSCOPIC ANALYSIS OF CERAMIC RESIDUE FROM THE FORT HILL SITE (46-MG-12), WEST VIRGINIA

The Fort Hill Site (46-Mg-12) located outside the city limits of Morgantown, West Virginia, in Monongalia County, represents relatively recent occupations, falling within the past approximate 1,000 years. An abundance of charred maize was recovered at the site, indicating that people living here were agriculturalists.
