Derived tolerance values for selected drug active substances in drinking water
收藏资源简介:
Certain foreign substances such as pharmaceutical active substances and their metabolic products are not covered by the Drinking Water Ordinance and are therefore referred to as so-called unregulated foreign substances. For few of these substances there are already tolerance values, which are considered the highest tolerable concentration in drinking water. In order to be able to better evaluate analytical measurement results in drinking water, environmental experts have derived tolerance values for a number of additional drug active substances. These tolerance values are based on toxicological values such as the acceptable daily intake (ADI). In total, 90 drug active substances and their metabolites have tolerance values in drinking water for infants and adults. The report documents methodology and results.
