Circular RNA Sequencing in The Rodent Model of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Twelve Male Adult C57BL/6 mice were Randomized into normal control (NC) group fed with normal chow, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) group fed with high-fat, high-cholesterol diet. After sixteen weeks, all of them were sacrificed, of which liver samples were harvested. Half of the samples in each group were randomly selected and subjected to the circular RNA (circRNA) sequencing. To investigate the differentially expressed circRNAs in NAFLD group compared to NC group, which may underlie the pathogenic mechanism of NAFLD.
