2000 Census Blocks

This dataset includes census blocks for all 16 counties in the North Central Texas Council of Governments region. These delineations were prepared for tabulation of the 2000 decennial census data. They are based on U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line files rectified to the latest aerial photography available for each county during the years 2003 - 2005. Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Navarro, Rockwall and Tarrant counties were based on orthos with a relative accuracy of 6 inches. The remaining counties were based on orthos with a 1-foot relative accuracy. This file is for reference use only. NCTCOG and its members are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in the file.本数据集涵盖德克萨斯州中北部政府理事会（North Central Texas Council of Governments, NCTCOG）辖区内全部16个郡的普查区块（census blocks）。此类区划专为2000年十年一次人口普查数据的制表工作编制，其数据基于美国人口普查局（U.S. Census Bureau）的TIGER/Line文件，并于2003至2005年间针对各郡现有最新航空影像完成校正。其中科林（Collin）、达拉斯（Dallas）、登顿（Denton）、埃利斯（Ellis）、考夫曼（Kaufman）、纳瓦罗（Navarro）、罗克沃尔（Rockwall）及塔兰特（Tarrant）8个郡的区划采用相对精度达6英寸的正射影像（orthophotos，简称orthos）制作，其余郡的区划则基于相对精度为1英尺的正射影像制作。本文件仅可用于参考用途，德克萨斯州中北部政府理事会及其成员单位不对本文件中的错误或不准确之处承担责任。
