Implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy Austria 2020+.

The "Biodiversity Strategy Austria 2020+" of the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism was published in 2014. The present report provides an overview of the more than 500 projects that are recorded in the biodiversity database of the Federal Environment Agency. The state of implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy was evaluated on the basis of parameters. In summary, many measures are being implemented that have a positive impact on biodiversity. At the same time, the parameters show the need for further action. A description of selected projects and recommendations for intensifying activities until 2020 and beyond complete the report.
