Whole transcriptomic analysis of CRP deposited abdominal aortic aneurysm

This study aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which C-reactive protein (CRP) deposition influences the microenvironment of the vessel walls in abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). By examining gene expression profiles within specific cell types, including macrophages, lymphocytes, and vascular smooth muscle cells, the research sought to elucidate pathways that contribute to the progression and exacerbation of AAA.
