Surface Water Masses in Burgundy-Franche-Comté (MESU)

Identification of surface water bodies located in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region and its surroundings (in particular part of departments 88 and 52 on which DREAL BFC manages some stations). These MESUs correspond to the elementary division of aquatic environments intended to be the assessment unit of the Water Hard Framework Directive (WFD). A surface water body is a distinct and significant part of surface water, such as a lake, reservoir, river, river or canal, part of a river, river or canal, transitional water or a portion of coastal water. For rivers, the delimitation of water bodies is based mainly on the size of the watercourse and the concept of hydro-ecoregion.本数据集用于识别勃艮第-弗朗什-孔泰大区（Burgundy-Franche-Comté）及其周边区域内的地表水体（surface water bodies），覆盖由DREAL BFC管理部分监测站点的法国88号与52号省的部分辖区。此类MESU单元为水生环境的基本划分单元，亦是水框架指令（Water Framework Directive, WFD）指定的评估单元。地表水体是地表水中具有明确边界与重要意义的组成部分，涵盖湖泊、水库、河流、运河、河段、运河段、过渡性水域或近岸海域片段。针对河流水体，其划界工作主要依据河道规模与水文生态区（hydro-ecoregion）的概念。
