Carbon-rich soils in Lower Saxony 1: 50000 with significance for climate protection without sealed surfaces (WFS Service)

The map of carbon-rich soils with relevance for climate protection includes sites with special protection needs (“maintenance”) or sites with potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (“development”). The relevant units of the BK50 were grouped into concise categories: High moor, Niedermoor, Moorgley, Organomarsch with low bog cover, sand deck culture as well as floors with flat overlaid peats. In addition, the areas with more than 30 % sealing and carbon-rich soils with little significance for climate protection were removed.本数据集对应的与气候保护相关的富碳土壤分布图，涵盖两类地块：一类为具有特殊保护需求的（"维护类"）地块，另一类为具备降低温室气体排放潜力的（"开发类"）地块。研究将BK50的相关土壤单元归纳为若干简洁分类：高位泥炭沼泽（High moor）、低位泥炭沼泽（Niedermoor）、沼泽黏壤土（Moorgley）、低泥炭覆盖有机滩涂（Organomarsch with low bog cover）、砂垫耕作土壤（sand deck culture）以及覆有薄层泥炭的土层（floors with flat overlaid peats）。此外，本数据集已移除地表封闭率超过30%的区域，以及对气候保护意义有限的富碳土壤区域。
