Emissions of air pollutants in all sectors of activity of the EPCI of the Greater East region — 2020

Estimation of emissions from all sectors of activity of major air pollutants (Sulphur dioxide SO2 — NO2 equivalent nitrogen oxides — PM10 suspended particles — PM2.5 fine particles — Benzene C6H6 — Volatile organic compounds NMVOC — Ammoniac NH3 — Carbon monoxide CO- Arsenic As — Cadmium Cd — Nickel Ni — Lead Pb — Benzo(a)pyrene BaP) in the Greater East region for 2020. The units are expressed in kg/year for the administrative units associated with the EPCI. The figures provided are from ATMO Grand Est’s inventory V2022. The methodological elements used come mainly from the work conducted jointly by the ATMO France Federation, CITEPA and INRIS within the framework of the National Coordination Centre for Territorial Inventories (PCIT) led by the Directorate General of Energy and Climate of the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition and published in the Methodological Guide for the elaboration of territorial inventories. It is a complex technical guide to recommend methodologies for the development of land-based pollutant and greenhouse gas emission inventories. The elements presented here come from the new version of the guide (June 2019 version), validated by the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition. Exceptions are to be taken into account for the following EPCIs: EPCI 200070332 “Knowledge CC”: only the data of the municipalities located on the territory of the Grand Est are taken into account. For the data of the municipalities of La Quarte (70430), La Rochelle (70450) and Ouge (70400) please contact Atmo Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. EPCI 200067213 “CU of Grand Reims”: for the municipality of Cormicy (51171) which merged on 1 January 2017 with the municipality of Gernicourt (02344) formerly in Aisne (Hauts-de-France region), only data from the municipality of Cormicy before merger are taken into account.
