Whole Body Comparative Transcriptomes of Aedes aegypti Strains (Rockefeller Strain versus Clovis California)

These files contain illumina sequence reads using the 3' Tag-seq sequencing protocol. These sequence libraries compare whole-body gene expression from the pyrethroid susceptible Rockefeller laboratory strain of Aedes aegypti against the F2 generation of pyrethroid-resistant Aedes aegypti collected from ovitraps in Clovis, California, in the Central Valley. Mosquitoes were reared in parallel, age-matched, and collected for RNA extraction at 5 days post eclosion. Each replicate represents a pooled sample of RNA from 5 whole female mosquitoes.
