Effects of Conditional Egfr deletion on transcriptome of the mouse cerebral cortex

To investigate the role of Egfr in the cerebreal cortex and hippocampal formation we conditionally deleted it using a floxed allele in combination with the Nestin-cre transgene. Cortices at P5 post-natal stage were harvested and split into rostral and caudal halves and RNA extracted and sequenced Comparison of RNA-seq data between rostral and caudal cortices and hippocampal formation of control brains (EgfrF/+ gentoype) and brain-specific knock of Egfr (Nestin-EgfrF/F).
为探究表皮生长因子受体(Egfr)在大脑皮层与海马结构中的作用,我们利用floxed等位基因结合Nestin-cre转基因,对其实施条件性敲除。我们于出生后第5天(P5)采集大脑皮层样本,将其分为吻侧与尾侧两半,随后提取RNA并进行RNA测序(RNA-seq)。本研究对基因型为EgfrF/+的对照组小鼠与大脑特异性Egfr敲除小鼠(Nestin-EgfrF/F)的吻侧皮层、尾侧皮层及海马结构的RNA测序数据开展对比分析。
