Upper-ocean microstructure data from the tropical Angolan upwelling system during METEOR cruise M120@en

Microstructure data was collected using a microstructure profiler MSS90D manufactured by Sea&Sun Technology in cooperation with ISW-Wassermesstechnik. Dissipation rates of turbulent kinetic energy are calculated as described in Schafstall et al. (Journal of Geophysical Research, 2010). Stored parameters include: Dissipation rate of turbulent kinetic energy from 2 microstructure shear sensors, temperature, salinity and depth.本数据集的微结构数据由Sea&Sun Technology与ISW-Wassermesstechnik合作制造的MSS90D型微结构剖面仪（microstructure profiler）采集得到。湍流动能（turbulent kinetic energy）耗散率的计算方法遵循Schafstall等人2010年发表于《Journal of Geophysical Research（地球物理研究杂志）》的研究方案。存储的参数包括：2个微结构剪切传感器测得的湍流动能耗散率、温度、盐度及深度。
