Mountain Legacy Project: Mountain Park Area - William Henry Miller

The Mountain Legacy Project compiles historical survey photographs, maps and field notes created between years 1861 to 1953 by surveyors with the Geological Survey of Canada, the Department of the Interior’s Dominion Land Survey and other government departments. Repeated photographs of surveyed historical landscapes have been captured since 1998 onwards, in order to assess environmental change in the Canadian Rocky Mountains over the last century. This dataset compiles archival photographs and other objects from the 1921, 1922 and 1924 Mountain Park area survey by William Henry Miller, with repeat photographs taken in 2018.山地遗产项目（Mountain Legacy Project）收录了1861年至1953年间，由加拿大地质调查局（Geological Survey of Canada）、加拿大内政部领地土地测量局（Department of the Interior’s Dominion Land Survey）及其他政府部门测绘人员创作的历史测绘照片、地图与野外记录。自1998年起，研究团队便对经测绘的历史景观开展重复摄影工作，以此评估过去一个世纪内加拿大落基山脉的环境变化状况。本数据集收录了威廉·亨利·米勒（William Henry Miller）于1921年、1922年及1924年开展山地公园区域测绘所留存的档案照片及其他相关资料，并配套收录了2018年拍摄的重复摄影影像。
