Bonus Covid-19 Florovivaistiche Companies

The dataset refers to the cleared applications that have adhered to the notices relating to the disbursement of the COVID-19 one-off bonus, reserved for undertakings in the horticultural sector with at least one production/operational unit (land for production) in the territory of the Campania Region, to address the negative effects that the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency has produced on the regional socio-economic fabric and on the weakest sections of the population. The purpose of the bonus is to support companies in the horticultural sector, affected by the current economic and financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 health emergency, by granting a one-off non-repayable contribution (bonus). The one-off non-repayable contribution is paid in proportion to the damage suffered. In fact, following the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, this production sector ‘consolidated’ important and irreversible losses in terms of Sellable Production already in March and April 2020 and there were much more serious damages in terms of income foregone due to the blocking of traditional and consolidated wholesale marketing channels both in Italy and abroad. This situation is even more serious if we consider that in the spring season for many horticultural enterprises more than 50 - 70% of annual revenues are realized. The floricultural companies invest significantly in the production cycles, to produce and make available to the market the productions precisely in these periods, which are the most important of the production seasonality and for consumption, which is remembered, for this sector are very tied to holidays (Easter and ceremonies / events that generally are concentrated in the spring - summer period) and which are irremediably compromised. The resources allocated to this intervention amounted to € 10 million.
