This data set was collected as part of the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study (BEST) to document the biomass, abundance and species composition of mesozooplankton on the eastern Bering Sea shelf. The gear is a 1-m Multiple Opening Closing Net and Environmental sampling system. The size of the opening is 1-m square.
