Marine submersion hazard in the North — No Calais

Storm Xynthia of February 2010 recalled the violence of the phenomena that could occur on the coast. Since 2006, the state services of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region have been working to better understand these risks through an ambitious curriculum. While most of these studies have been completed, this knowledge now gives rise to information, prevention and protection measures, while preparing for the management of a possible crisis.2010年2月的辛西娅风暴（Storm Xynthia）让人们直观感受到沿海地区可能发生的气象灾害的极强破坏力。自2006年起，法国北部-加来海峡大区（Nord-Pas-de-Calais）的公共职能部门便通过一项系统性的宏大研究计划，致力于更全面地认知此类灾害风险。尽管绝大多数此类研究已告完成，这些积累的专业认知现已催生了相应的风险信息发布、灾害预防及防护举措，同时亦为应对潜在危机的应急管理工作做好了筹备。
