Mineral Safeguarding Areas

This shows the minerals that are safeguarded in Policy M2 of the Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan. Minerals are finite and all mineral planning authorities have to ensure that unworked mineral deposits are safeguarded from development that would sterilise their potential extraction.
