Co. Louth Architectural Conservation Areas

The Planning and Development Act 2000 empowers the planning authority to designate architectural conservation areas (ACAs), where it is of the view that this designation is necessary for the preservation of the character of a place, area, group of structures or townscape which is of special interest or contributes to the appreciation of protected structures.《2000年规划与发展法》赋予规划主管部门划定建筑保护街区（Architectural Conservation Areas, ACAs）的职权。若规划主管部门认定，为保护具备特殊价值的场所、区域、建筑群或城市景观的风貌，或助力提升对受保护建筑的鉴赏价值，该划定实属必要，则可开展此类指定工作。
