Since the Law on Combating Waste and the Circular on the Circular on Eco-Responsible Public Services, the State has increased its commitment to reducing its digital-related environmental footprint. Adaptation efforts to engage in the ecological and solidarity transition must, for an exemplary reason, apply to the public service. The manufacturing of computer equipment concentrates the vast majority of environmental and social impacts. It is therefore essential to seize the subject of digital purchasing in order to make it more responsible.
