Effect of berberine on intestinal microflora in CRS mice

We aimed to establish a chronic restraint stress (CRS) mouse model to probe the interrelations among the intestinal microflora, biochemical markers of depression, and berberine. Such an exploration is instrumental in elucidating the primary mechanisms underlying the antidepressant effects of berberine.
