A HydroGeoMorphological study (HGM) is based on the precise observation of the “natural” flood fields resulting from the functioning of the watercourse.
The data provided is limited to sectors not covered by an approved PPRi, AZI or hydraulic modelling. In these sectors, this data becomes the reference for flooding.
The use of this data is identical to that of AZI: It is likely to feed the Porter à Connaissance (PAC) PLU or Flood and may be invoked for the purposes of R.111-2 of the EC.
