AN XMM-NEWTON OBSERVATION OF IRAS 17020+4544 : A HOST OF DUSTY WARM ABSORBER

The narrowline Seyfert 1 galaxy IRASvirgul17020+4544 shows evidence for a warmabsorber in lowresolution Xray spectra, and its high polarization suggeststhat it is dusty. We propose an observation of IRASvirgul17020+4544 in order todiagnose the nature of dusty warm absorbers, and also to investigate thepossible link between the presence of high polarization and the lowerionizationwarm absorber. This source is also of interest in the iron Kline, which wassuggested to be broad, strong and ionized.
