The carrot weevil, Listronotus oregonensis oregonensis (LeConte) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), is a devastating pest of carrot, celery and parsley crops in North America. Pest distribution and damage are increasing while pesticide resistance has been observed. This transcriptomic resource will facilitate the research to better understand gene flux, pest evolution and resistance acquisition.
