UK Managed Realignment and Regulated Tidal Exchange Schemes (ABPmer - Dec19)

ABPmer shapefile showing outlines for implemented UK managed realignment and regulated tidal exchange schemes. Last updated December 2019. MR = managed realignment. unMR = unmanaged realignment. RTE = regulated tidal exchange. 'Notes' relate mostly to outline creation, e.g. whether or not there is a clear landward boundary, and wheter there migth be some uncertainty in the outlines drawn. Please note that the scheme area calculated for the respective polygons may not correspond with the officially reported extent; this may be due to differences in extent definition, or the inclusion/exclusion of terrestrial or transitional habitats. The outlines for this shapefile have been drawn along the crests of embankments and/or at the approximate or known position of the Higest Astronomical Tide (HAT) line (where there is no landward defence), as appropriate/applicable.
