It includes 6,386 observations focused on the informal economy, sourced via the ILO REST API and filtered by African ISO3 country codes. The data is structured in tabular format with dimensions such as country code, year, sex (total, male, female), age classification, disability status classification, along with observed values, data status flags, and notes. Data quality notes: annual frequency, ILO-selected best source for multiple sources per country-year, and disaggregation columns are non-null only when published.
