A transcriptome was produced for SNP discovery from a series of animals subjected to a range of different thermal regimes, with the aim of maximising expression of those transcripts involved in thermal sensitivity and/or tolerance. Three regimes were applied: heated at 15�C for 1 hour, 4�C for 2 days and then the 4�C animals were further warmed at 1�c per day up to a final temperature of 7�C.
