Monthly mobile transecting of CH4 emission plumes in different downwind distances from the mine ventilation shafts in USCB

The maps of ground-based measurements represent spatial and temporal concentration patterns of CH4 in the emission plumes detected downwind of active ventilation shafts during monthly mobile monitoring campaigns in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB) in southern Poland mines spanning from February 2023 to January 2024. The mobile platform includes the LGR MGGA918, Licor 7810, Picarro G2201-i isotope analyzer, and the vehicle-mounted Gill WindSonic-60 anemometer.
