Metatranscriptomic samples from the HOE Legacy 2 expedition. Samples are of microbial communities (>5µm) from the surface mixed layer near Station ALOHA, collected every 4 hours. Each sample was sequenced in two ways, 1) polyA pulldown to target eukaryotic organisms and 2) total RNA sequenced to target rRNA and particle-associated prokaryotic organisms.
