数据集为黄土高原 500 m分辨率黄土质量数据集(2019 年)，数据是利用黄土厚度数据和土壤传递函数计算得到。基于黄土高原地区的 242 个样点观测的土壤质地数据，并利用土壤传递函数来推导黄土的容重（BD），最后估算黄土的质量及其在黄土高原地区的分布情况。黄土质量数据为计算黄土高原地区的水、碳和养分储存提供关键数据，也助于我们更好地理解该地区的土壤-水过程和生态水文系统。

This dataset is the 500 m-resolution loess mass dataset of the Loess Plateau (2019). The data was calculated using loess thickness data and pedotransfer functions (PTFs). Specifically, based on soil texture data measured at 242 sampling sites across the Loess Plateau region, pedotransfer functions were employed to derive the loess bulk density (BD), and ultimately to estimate the loess mass and its spatial distribution across the plateau. This loess mass dataset provides critical data for quantifying water, carbon and nutrient storage in the Loess Plateau, and facilitates a better understanding of the local soil-water processes and ecohydrological systems.
