Toluene-treatment bioreactor microbiome Raw sequence reads

The goal of this work is to evaluate and systematically compare the continuous toluene abatement performance of a conventional bacterial biotrickling filter (BTF) reactor and an innovative tubular algal-bacterial photobioreactor (TPBR) under different operation conditions (different empty bed residence times, different toluene inlet concentrations and toluene surges). Changes of bacterial communities in both bioreactors at selected operation conditions were investigated to understand the influence of operation conditions on bacterial populations.
