Lake Catchment Set

A freely available data set of inflow lakes’ catchments including lakes, location, shape, area, perimeter, etc.) over the Qiangtang Plateau which is a main part of the Tibetan Plateau. The data set is derived from Landset8 images, Google Earth and DEM. It will provide important basic information for researchers to study the changes of meteorology, hydrology and environment and its mechanism in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.本数据集为覆盖作为青藏高原主体的羌塘高原（Qiangtang Plateau）区域的入流湖泊集水区数据集，涵盖湖泊本体、空间位置、几何形状、面积、周长等要素，可免费公开获取。数据集源自陆地卫星8号（Landsat 8）影像、谷歌地球（Google Earth）以及数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model，DEM）。本数据集可为研究人员开展青藏高原气象、水文与环境变化及其作用机制的相关研究提供重要基础资料。
