Experiment results for "iChatBio: an Extensible Agentic System for Scientific Exploration and Integration of Open Biodiversity Data"

This repository contains the experiment results referenced in "iChatBio: an Extensible Agentic System for Scientific Exploration and Integration of Open Biodiversity Data" (2026). A set of 193 requests were submitted to a local instance of iChatBio (https://ichatbio.org). The outputs are captured in two data dumps:- conversation_data.db contains the generated conversations as an SQLite database file. Viewing the conversations requires an SQLite viewer. All conversation messages are in the "v2/messages" table. To view messages in a particular conversation, filter the "conversation_id" column by a conversation ID (as listed in the "conversations" table). For example, filtering by conversation_id=bef69f82-301d-48b9-b30f-78c9beb0b587 will retrieve the response to the request "Retrieve occurrence records of Rattus rattus from Madagascar collected after 2000".- artifacts.zip contains all artifacts generated as part of the system's responses. The files are named using artifact data's SHA256 hashes, which are included in the messages contained in conversation_data.db. Each response was graded by two graders:- Grader 1.csv contains the grades assigned by grader 1- Grader 2.csv contains the grades assigned by grader 2- Rubric.pdf explains how grades were determined
