An anonymous cross-sectional survey was conducted among the students in the fourth year in regard to the courses they previously attended, in contrast with the ongoing course of emergency medicine (EM) during the first semester of the academic year 2020 – 2021, when all activities went on-line. The questionnaire included items of opinion about courses and self-assessed knowledge, and questions probing into respondents' familiarity with the data science basics.
