To investigate the effect of different levels of compost treatment on plant gene expression of Atriplex lentiformis, we set up a greenhouse experiment with three treatments of 10% (TC10), 15 (TC15), and 20% (TC20) compost amended, metalliferrous mine tailings. In addition, potting soil was used as a non-contaminated control soil. Plants were harvested at ~11 weeks and shoot/root tissues were flash frozen in liquid nitrogen for RNA-seq analysis.
