Hydrological Map of the Arab Region and the Adjacent Areas; 1988

This data asset contains various layers / coverages, such as: - Polygon features that describe aquifer types and its characteristics. - Hydrological point features that describe the ground water quality like water salinity. - Features of polygon shapes on the map like lakes. - Contains arrows pointing to the direction of ground water flow. The data is available on the CEDARE CD-ROM: The CEDARE CD-ROM product consists of two main components; a home page and a GIS module. The home page component consists of linked hypertext pages on CEDARE and an Internet browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer), and the GIS component consists of digital data and a data viewer (GIS Data Viewer from ESRI). The geographic extent of the GIS database covers the Arab countries and Mediterranean Europe.
