Due to global warming, a fundamental change in the appropriation of trees and a shift in natural forest societies can be expected in the long term. In some heights or growth areas, today’s main tree species will still be able to maintain, in some cases only more than side tree species, but in others are completely due to the changed climate conditions (e.g. drought, calamities). As part of the project “Dynamic Forest Typing Styria”, forest type maps were created, which took into account the changing climate conditions and include a characterisation of the appropriation of trees for the most important tree species in Styria.受全球变暖影响，长期来看，林木资源的配置格局与天然林群落的演替均将发生根本性变化。在部分海拔或生长区域，当前的优势树种仍可维持其优势地位，但在部分情形下其竞争力仅略优于伴生树种；而在其他区域，优势树种则完全因气候条件改变（如干旱、灾害）而难以存续。 作为“施蒂利亚州动态森林类型划分”（Dynamic Forest Typing Styria）项目的组成部分，本数据集编制了森林类型图。该图集充分考量了气候变化的影响，并纳入了针对施蒂利亚州主要树种的林木配置特征描述。
