eDNA samples collected along the Northwest Passage, Inuit Nunangat (Canada)

Assessment of eukaryotic community composition including any potential invasive species derived from environmental DNA in seawater samples collected from a ship of opportunity along the Northwest Passage in Inuit Nunangat, Canada. 3 x 1 L seawater replicates were collected from 27 locations (81 samples total) along with field, extraction and PCR blanks. Samples were profiled via metabarcoding using an 18S rRNA V9 marker (1391F and EukBr) and a mitochondrial COI marker (mlCOIintF-XT and jgHCO2198).
