HC-RES-006 — Lung Function Monitoring Synthetic Dataset (Sample) is a synthetic dataset focused on respiratory diseases, generated by XpertSystems.ai. It simulates a pulmonary-function-testing (PFT) cohort for a mixed pulmonology population, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), bronchiectasis, obstructive sleep apnea, and normal controls. The dataset contains 500 patient samples with 192 columns, covering a wide range of lung function monitoring metrics such as pre/post-bronchodilator spirometry (based on NHANES III reference equations), static lung volumes (plethysmography), DLCO/KCO diffusion, bronchial provocation (methacholine/mannitol), FeNO, impulse oscillometry (IOS/FOT), 6-minute walk test, symptom and patient-reported outcome instruments (e.g., CAT, mMRC, SGRQ, ACQ), treatment information, exacerbations, OSA polysomnography, HRCT/biomarkers, and clinical outcomes. Additionally, it includes five embedded longitudinal trajectories, such as quarterly FEV1/FVC over 10 years, annual DLCO/FeNO, and 6MWT results. The dataset is rigorously validated to ensure correct cross-diagnosis physiology gradients and is suitable for research purposes like multi-disease pulmonary-function pattern classification, trajectory forecasting, ILD progression modeling, and COPD exacerbation prediction, but is intended for research/development only, not for clinical decision-making. The sample is licensed under CC-BY-NC-4.0, with the full commercial product scaling to over 20,000 patients.
