A real-time application for remote management of continuous flow analysis (CFA) laboratory instruments

Technical report outlining the 2024 architecture of the Continuous Flow Analysis (CFA) system designed at the Institute of Polar Sciences of the Italian National Research Council (ISP-CNR) and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice as the primary facility for ice core analysis. The architeture involves the integration of a CompactRIO (cRIO) 9035, managed through a new LabVIEW Real-Time (RT) Application. The report provides code samples and workflow explanations for the remote management of the peristaltic pump and the Abakus particle counter, selected as illustrative examples.
