The project aimed at developing biopesticides based upon indigenous microbes for biological control of lepidopterous insect pests of rice crop. The microbes were isolated from gut of diseased lepidopterous larvae collected from field and the isolated microbes were evaluated for their pathogenecity in rice leaf folder and rice borers.
