Disease Pattern in General Practice, Aarhus County 1993

The subject of this survey is the disease pattern in general practice in the County of Aarhus in 1993, i.e. the purpose is to map out in detail the disease and contact pattern in general practice. # In recent years there has been an increased interest in describing the work of general practitioners. This interest has, among other things, manifested itself through increased research in the field. # The purpose of the information which the general practitioners registered was to identify the contact in question in order to obtain as much information on the patients as possible. When it was decided to carry out this multi-practice survey in the County of Aarhus in 1993 the main purposes were: #1) To describe the disease pattern of people who contacted their # general practitioner one day in the period 1 February to 31 # December, 1993. #2) To get an idea of why people contact their general # practitioner and which diagnoses are made, etc. #3) The character of the reasons for contact
