Whole-genome sequencing of the ant Crematogaster osakensis (Hymenoptera: Formicidae: Myrmicinae)

The ant Crematogaster osakensis (Hymenoptera: Formicidae: Myrmicinae) serves as a valuable model organism for investigating queen-specific traits, such as reproductive capacity and longevity, at the cellular and molecular levels. To support future research on queen traits using molecular techniques such as genome editing and multi-omics data analyses, we performed whole-genome sequencing of this species.
