Portuguese version of the European Deprivation Index (version 2011)

The European Deprivation Index (EDI-PT) was produced for the smallest area unit possible (n=18084 census block groups, mean/area=584 inhabitants) and resulted from the weighted sum of the eight selected variables from 2011 census. It was then categorized into quintiles (Q1-least deprived to Q5-most deprived).欧洲贫困剥夺指数（European Deprivation Index, EDI-PT）针对最小可行区域单元（共18084个普查街区组，平均每单元人口584人）编制，由2011年人口普查中选取的8项变量加权求和得到。随后将该指数划分为五分位数组（Q1为剥夺程度最低组，Q5为剥夺程度最高组）。
