We collected aerial imagery to ground-truth and place our physical characteristics survey data in a wider, reach-scale context. Aerial imagery was collected for each sample reach using a commercially-available unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The Utah State University Ecogeomorphology and Topographic Analysis Laboratory (USU ETAL) used the UAV to photograph three hectares of river at each of the five study reaches for a total of fifteen hectares. The USU ETAL lab photographed river reaches in early August 2020 to capture conditions at approximately peak macrophyte coverage. The USU ETAL used the program DroneDeploy to process raw images into Orthomosaics and Digital Elevation Models (DEMs).Please see the metadata file (*.txt, *.xml, or *.aux.xml) for more specific information.

本研究采集航空影像以开展实地验证,并将物理特征调查数据置于更广阔的河段尺度研究框架之中。本研究采用商用无人机(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV)为每个采样河段采集航空影像。犹他州立大学生态地貌与地形分析实验室(Utah State University Ecogeomorphology and Topographic Analysis Laboratory, USU ETAL)使用该无人机为5个研究河段各拍摄了3公顷的河道影像,总拍摄面积达15公顷。该实验室于2020年8月初开展河道影像拍摄,以捕捉大型水生植物覆盖度接近峰值时的河道状态。该实验室使用DroneDeploy软件将原始影像处理为正射影像图(Orthomosaics)与数字高程模型(Digital Elevation Models, DEMs)。如需获取更详细的信息,请查阅元数据文件(*.txt、*.xml或*.aux.xml)。
